The Challenge
Sandungueo, a Cuban spice crafted by Chef Peter Martinez, needed a distinctive brand identity to launch successfully in a competitive market while maintaining cultural authenticity. The challenge was to create packaging that resonated with local consumers, appealed to specialty food markets, and stood out on the shelf among other spice products.
Our Approach
Drawing inspiration from Cuban culinary traditions and Chef Peter Martinez's expertise, I developed a visually striking brand identity for Sandungueo. The packaging design features vibrant colors, clear messaging, and a focus on premium quality to attract both local consumers and specialty food markets. Throughout the process, I worked closely with Chef Peter Martinez to ensure that the design remained true to its cultural roots, incorporating iterative feedback to refine the packaging for optimal market appeal.
Results
The launch of Sandungueo yielded promising results, with strong early sales metrics indicating market acceptance and interest. The packaging successfully communicated the spice's cultural authenticity and premium quality, helping Sandungueo differentiate itself in a crowded marketplace and attract its target audience.
