The Challenge
Fusion, an art residency in its inaugural year post-pandemic, faced the challenge of attracting enough artist participants to ensure the program's viability. The goal was to showcase the unique experience of the residency and increase sign-ups from artists and potential sponsors.
The Approach
I developed a comprehensive media strategy and production plan to meet Fusion's objectives. This involved creating engaging promotional videos, social media content, and producing interviews to highlight the residency experience. I incorporated motion graphics and designed event flyers to enhance visual storytelling and brand identity. Additionally, I designed a Spatial virtual art gallery to provide a captivating digital venue for showcasing artists' work. This multi-faceted approach resonated with artists seeking residencies and effectively attracted sign-ups, surpassing the minimum participant threshold required for the residency's successful launch.
The Results
The campaign successfully attracted more artists than the minimum required, ensuring the residency's successful launch. The compelling content and innovative digital gallery enhanced Fusion's brand identity and appeal, drawing interest from both artists and sponsors and setting a strong foundation for future editions.
